Thanks for writing.
Because we combine items for shipment whenever possible, and make a partial shipment of items in an order more than two months old if all items in it have not been in stock at the same time within two months, as our web site explains, it unfortunately isn't possible for us to predict shipping costs before the order has entered payment processing.
However, almost every item in our online catalog has both a SAL and EMS shipping cost estimate displayed at the top of its catalog page along with size and weight data. The SAL and EMS shipping cost estimates are the cost to send one of that item, packed for shipping, to North America. The equivalent prices to other countries are in the weight and rate charts for EMS and SAL Small Packet classes on the HLJ Shipping Information page at
http://www.hlj.com/hlj_shipping.html. That page explains that for an order with multiple items, the shipping cost is determined by the total weight of the items plus the weight of the shipping box and packing materials.
You can get a fairly accurate estimate of shipping by taking the online cost of one item (for example 1180 for SAL shipping to North America--this includes the packing materials, and you can check the shipping charts to find that this would be the amount to send a 1000 g order to North America). Add the total weight of the other items together, add that total to 1000 g, and look that total weight up on the SAL chart. (If the two other items total 1500 g in weight, it would be 1000 + 1500 = 2500 g. On the SAL chart, that would be 1680 yen.) It will vary a little because the shipping box and materials might change, but it's a good guess.
